NeatForge Screenshot browser extension

When you install and use the NeatForge Screenshot browser extension, it can access the visible content of the active tab only after you explicitly start a capture. The extension uses that access to capture the visible area or scroll and stitch a full-page screenshot. Page content, screenshots, page titles, and URLs used for the capture are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded, sold, shared, or used for advertising.

• Local history: the extension stores up to 10 recent captures and small local thumbnails in its own IndexedDB storage so you can reopen them from the built-in viewer. You can delete any history item from the extension; clearing the extension's data also removes the local history.
• Downloads: when you choose PNG or JPG download, the completed image is saved to your browser's Downloads location. The extension does not send the image to a server.
• Permissions: activeTab and scripting are used for the user-requested capture, contextMenus for the optional right-click capture command, and downloads for user-requested file saves. Capture history is stored in the extension's own IndexedDB and does not require Chrome's storage permission. The extension does not request host permissions, inject persistent content scripts, or execute remote code.
• Retention: captures remain only in the local extension history until you delete them or clear extension data. No cloud backup or server-side copy is created.

The website's separate analytics, advertising, hosting logs, and contact-email handling described below apply to visits to neatforge.com, not to the local-only screenshot processing performed by the extension. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to support@neatforge.com.
