Our tool renders the PDF pages at a high resolution (2x scale by default) to ensure the resulting JPG and PNG images are sharp and clear, suitable for both web use and design work. At 2x scale, a standard A4 page renders at approximately 1190 × 1684 pixels — more than enough for full-screen web display and printing at moderate sizes. For even higher resolution, you can adjust the scale factor in the settings.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

No, this tool cannot open or process password-protected PDF files. You will need to remove the password first using a tool like qpdf or Adobe Acrobat, then convert the unprotected file. This is a limitation of the pdf.js library, which does not prompt for passwords in our implementation.
